Add a Special Touch to your Holiday Season with our “Christmas Bamboo” Cake

With Christmas around the corner, we are a releasing a limited Christmas Cake to enjoy with loved ones during the holiday season.  Prepared by Executive Pastry Chef Yoshie Nakanishi, the cake is inspired by the vibrant green of a Christmas tree.  Showcasing the beautiful color of premium Uji matcha, notes of fresh yuzu offer a uniquely Japanese holiday cake.

The rich and full-bodied matcha mousse is layered with a creamy, smooth semi-sweet chocolate crémeaux, accented by the bright tang of yuzu caramel.  The base combines rice crisps to create a delightful contrast of textures.  Both the chocolate cream and whipped cream are subtly infused with Okinawan kokuto.
