SWEETS by Odo : Special Edition on September 20th + 21st, 2025

Indulge in a specially curated dessert tasting

Following the warm reception of our debut weekend in May 2025, our team at odo is thrilled to continue SWEETS by Odo — a monthly dessert-focused pop-up curated by Executive Chef Hiroki Odo and led by Executive Pastry Chef Yoshie Nakanishi.

Held on the first weekend of every month, this intimate tasting experience showcases a seasonal dessert course that celebrates both artistry and flavor. With decades of experience, Chef Nakanishi presents a decadent yet refined lineup — including her signature Fraisier, a delicate Matcha rolled cake, and a fragrant Hojicha Mandarin Canelé, among other inspired creations.

Saturday, September 20 & Sunday, September 21: Special Edition

Our team at Odo is excited to announce the sixth SWEETS by Odo, but with a twist!  We will be collaborating with Chef Phoebe Ogawa.  After training in Kyoto to learn the art of Wagashi (Japanese sweets), Chef Ogawa became the pastry chef behind Kajitsu and Kokage.

Chef Ogawa pioneered a fully-focused dessert menu at Kajitsu, elevating the profile of Wagashi in New York City.

We are honored to have the opportunity to showcase the tradition of Wagashi with Chef Ogawa.

Phoebe Ogawa
After training in Kyoto to learn the art of wagashi, a style of traditional Japanese confections, Phoebe returned to New York City to work as the Pastry Chef at Michelin-starred, Japanese fine dining restaurant Kajitsu and its cafe, Kokage, in Murray Hill. Phoebe pioneered a fully wagashi-focused dessert menu at Kajitsu, elevating the profile of this ancient Japanese craft in New York. After the closure of Kajitsu in September 2022, Phoebe continues to share the rich history and beauty of wagashi through her new project "OGAWAGASHI".
